Johnny Lee zeigt sehr eindrucksvoll eine Eigenschaft, die ich in letzter Zeit oft vermisse. Den Drang oder sogar die Leidenschadt, innovativ und kreativ Ideen zu generieren, die mit sehr geringem Einsatz eine sehr große Wirkung erzielen. Lösungsorientiert mit Einschränkungen umzugehen, und am Ende etwas zu schaffen, das an diesen Einschränkungen sogar noch gewachsen ist!

Wie ich finde eine sehr wichtige Eigenschaft, agiler Software Entwicklung.

Ich überlege zur Zeit, das Themengebiet des Blogs um das Thema “Design” zu erweitern. Warum? Weil Design für mich sehr viel mit IT und Scrum zu tun hat. Warum? Das erklär ich irgendwann anders Das Wetter ist gerade viel zu schön, um hier noch viel zu bloggen.

2. Treffen der Karlsruher Scrum Gruppe

ging soeben zu ende. Wir waren erneut über 25 Personen und auch sehr erfreut, dass Joseph Pelrine zu den Gästen gehörte. Im Impulsvortrag hat Jürgen einen Agilen Vertrag vorgestellt und die Dinge angesprochen, auf die es zu achten gilt.

Das Ergebnis der Themensammlung, als auch den Vertrag zum Download wird es auf dem http://scrumusergroupkarlsruhe.pbwiki.com/ geben. Sobald die Infos online sind, gibt es an dieser Stelle ein kurzes Update.

Nächstes Treffen ist am Mittwoch, den 3. Juni. Dann wieder im großen Kurfürsten.

for what I mean with “the most undervalued role is the Product Owner” comes from Boris and his post about Scrum of Scrum. Whereas I fully agree to his post, there is one secret missing:

1. You need an excellent Product Owner with an excellent cross-over Product Backlog

Why is that so important:

Being Scrum Master for a while for myself and for a short time Product Owner I see the immense positive and negative Power that lies within the role Product Owner and the artefact Product Backlog.

We concetrate very long on “doing things right”, but we need to emphasize “doing the right things” more in the days to come. A supercool SoS is worthless if noone knows where to go to. So use this secret and put your focus on the PO
