for what I mean with “the most undervalued role is the Product Owner” comes from Boris and his post about Scrum of Scrum. Whereas I fully agree to his post, there is one secret missing:
1. You need an excellent Product Owner with an excellent cross-over Product Backlog
Why is that so important:
Being Scrum Master for a while for myself and for a short time Product Owner I see the immense positive and negative Power that lies within the role Product Owner and the artefact Product Backlog.
We concetrate very long on “doing things right”, but we need to emphasize “doing the right things” more in the days to come. A supercool SoS is worthless if noone knows where to go to. So use this secret and put your focus on the PO
